ReMarkable app for iPhone and iPad

The concept behind ReMarkable is not a complicated one, but instead functional and practical for students and teachers.  The passion behind this unique marking app for teachers was to see if there was any way to help benefit the environment by minimizing the amount of paper students use in today’s classrooms.  It seems that with all students now having access to iPads and laptops computers we knew there had to be a seamless way for documents to get submitted to teachers for marking.  Not only did it have to be easy for students to submit, but marking the actual document itself had to be simple and enjoyable for teachers.


Say hello to ReMarkable, a unique application that allows teachers to accept, mark and return documents to students with ease. Once users download the app they are given a unique email address that can be used to accept any document type (.docx, .xls, .ppt, .jpg, .gif, .pdf etc.) to ReMarkable. Once the documents are submitted, teachers can use the smart file folder system to categorize different classes, and with our auto save system mark documents at their own pace. When a document is submitted the doc icons takes on a 3 step color coding appearance, helping users view what the current state of marking is for that particular document. (Red=submitted and not marked, Yellow=marking in progress, but not completed, Green=marking is completed and document has been sent back to student). ReMarkable has included a very simple and efficient annotation toolbar for marking, making this an enjoyable and easy experience for teachers.

The goal is to help eradicate the unnecessary use of paper in the classroom, and continue to aid teachers in making marking easy. We are continuing to upgrade and add new functionality due to the overwhelming success of our pre-launch version which is currently being used by the global network of ReMarkable teachers. We will be updating our V2 version shortly!!

Ability to backup all documents in ReMarkable so you can login to any iPad and restore to your current state!!
